Four gate project.

Gate 1 at west side of house.  Opening 47 inches.  Height at 70 inches to bottom of cap on wall.  Gate to be arched, with pickets to match those of the fencing.  Pickets on the gate start 34 inches from ground.

Gate 2, front entrance.  Opening is 41 inches by 56 inches to bottom of ledge. Gate to be arched, with pickets to match those of the fencing.  Pickets on the gate start 34 inches from ground.

Gate 3, left front of residence, faces street.  Gate opening is 48 ½ inches by 55 inches high.  Gate pickets start at 34 inches from ground.

Gate 4, left front of residence, faces driveway.  Gate opening is 45 inches by 55 inches.

Please advise if gate has pickets.  If so it looks like they too will start 34 inches from ground.

 Gates will use the four inch bearing hinges in a black, low sheen finish.  Owner will select hardware and advise.  Gates to be finished Mahogany in a low luster Durlux product of white selection code to be provided.

Project as described includes all materials and labor except as noted…$4800.00

Mr. Hall did provide the hardware, cost of installation may add to project.

A deposit of 50% of the cost to assure timely scheduling of project…rc'd $2400.00

Balance of payment is to be made upon completion.

Ron this is basic model which looks a bit chunky but is not completely to scale.  Fits on Pilaster caps, arches are each 2 inches thick by six inches high, 12 inches apart. Ribs are all 1 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches, overhang arches by about 6 inches each side. Believe it goes in front of main entrance which makes the span 55 inches center to center. Construction is all mahogany, finish as doors.

 

Ron, I'd suggest using arch as shown in model with arch running down straight another foot to 18 inches straight to get more height.
